: Go to www.pdindex.com. You as a caregiver or as a patient having dementia will find a lot of information on just about every aspect of dementia from symptoms to practical guidelines in the difficult job of taking care of a loved one who has dementia. The sections on depression and anxiety are especialy interesting. Also, there is a table listing the drugs to use for each condition such as insomnia, depression and anxiety. In the section listing all of the drugs likely to be used to treat the variety of Parkinson's symptoms, there is more info. about how to administer the pd agonist drug apomorphine. This drug is not yet available in the USA, but is currently in use in Europe. Bruce
Bruce, thanks for the website info. Since I work in LTC, I'm going to pass this on to our Dir.of Nurses and Pharmacist -- they're always on the lookout for information available to residents and families, so they know what the consumer knows and can better help them. Lory
