: My doctor at Ohio State was right on target once again. She only changed the schedule for Clonazepam from one pill at bead time to dividing it up to taking the drug 3x per day and increased the total amount taken each day.The pain is lower each day. Considering the thought that for the first time I havn't been able to walk since the pain started, I wasn't to happy that I might not walk again. So I was determined to find a solution if there was one. Exercise, massage or stretching the leg muscles. Then I remembered I had a walker stored away and tthat I felt awkword and uncomfortable trying to use it. So I took the walker outside on the lawn and started walking with it easily and without pain the first time I tried it. The walker takes off a lot of weight that used to press on the knee joints. Now I feel confident that I can walk into most stores without gasping for breath and without looking for a place to sit down. Now I think I could handle a longer trip like to a Parkinson's Center who have been performing tthe STN DBS brain surgery. Just thought it was worth sharing a story with a happy endibg for s change. Thanks again for the support. In my opinion, this message board is the best because of the kind and caring people who do their best to help us parkys. Bruce
