: I'm new to the board and see that you're going to Ohio State. Do they have a good Movement Clinic. We're shopping right now for a PD specialist. My husband Keith is just diagnosed. This is very early on and we want the best treatment for him NOW. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Oh, we live in NE Ohio. Ravenna.

Kathy, Ohio State University medical center at Columbus is one of the NPF's Parkinson's Centers of excellence. Dr. Hubble, the director, is my doctor and she is the first physician I have complete trust in her judgement in treating my pd. You can get their phone number from the NPF web site and I called them and they immediately gave me an appointment. For years and years my local doctor kept insisting I was overdosing on Sinemet and every time he lowered the dose, my condition got worse. When I visited Dr. Hubble, she not only didn't reduce my medications but added two more pd drugs. It would be a very wise move if you went there. I would be in bad shape if I hadn't visited the center. So far, every change in my treatment by Dr. Hubble has worked every time. Bruce
