My husband,40-something, is seriously looking into having this surgery performed. We are having difficulty finding out if insurance will pay for the procedure. Since the device is not FDA-approved for this specifically, we anticipate difficulties with reimbursement. Insurance company keeps wanting the CPT code in order to tell us if it will be covered, and we can't seem to find this. Any help or suggestions? Has anyone had this surgery and had insurance cover the cost? Thanks for any info.
