: : : How many of my parky friends are thinking about having the implant )DBS) brain surgery? On the flip side, how many of you would not have the surgery? Any comments? Bruce

: : I am considering it, I am just know starting research. Any info you have would be appreciated.

: Hello Bruce
: Yep..i am very much interested-it would take something of a substantive nature to persuade me not to have it(dbs)
: Mine has not been postponed --it has not been scheduled--the dr said he would have me on the table before the new year.

: take care--pete

Pete, if you have any doubts about medicare covering the surgery, see my message about medicare coveragw in Kansas. What I finally learned and confirmed by medicare is medicare coverage in each state is left up to the discretion of the medicare carrier for each state to decide whether to approve the coverage. The carrier is the insurance company that takes care of the billing for medicare in each state. Bruce
