Eric, do a search on the internet under Parkinson's Disease and you will come up with lots of sites with information about the disease itself and surgeries that can be performed for some people. A good site is Natioanl Parkinson's Foundation (I think it is npf.org). Hope this helps you. Also your mom needs all the emotional support she can get, so her loved ones need to be proactive in her battle against the disease.
