I take neurontin which is for restless leg syndrome. I am not waking myself up now at night.
Sleeping in a water bed helps due to the fact it gives when you move.
I'd also like to add.....he might try even exercising in bed. Tightening and loosing his leg muscles would be of benefit. I do this and then move my feet (forming a circle) to exercise my ankles....infact, tonight my hubby said do you know you keep moving your feet??? I said yes, I'm exercising my ankle muscles...He just laughed and said.....GOOD!
Hope he is able to get something to help!

Go to Planetrx.com and look up the medications that everyone suggest.....it will give you an idea of what you are asking the doctor for...

Good luck!
