: :Dear Bruce.
: Living in New England I can appreciate the fall folige. it reminds me of God taking his paint brush and took the best colors for our trees.I go to my daughters house in the wood, I find it very relaxing and comfortable. We have enough on our shoulders we need a little tranquility in our live.OH by the way I am going to become a grandmother for the 3rd time I hope my children knew what they were doing having kids with my familys history of the diease. They are both inhtere late 20, so It is not like they did not know about the problem ANY input would be helpful. Remember God Love us.
: It is if Googy suggested I share my writeup with all of you. I don't claim to have any talent, but once in awhile when everything seems to be right with the world and am just feeling thankful for being able to enjoy nature's beauty, I just write down what I see and feel at that special moment. I went out to the pond just before sunset. Their was not a cloud in the sky and no wind. The surface of the water was like a mirror with barely a ripple to disturb the calm cold water. The sun was like a bright orange ball. Many of the trees had lost most of there leaves and I began to notice the geometric patterns of the naked branches with the glow of the sun behind the tree limbs. This was something new to me in noticing the intricate patterns of the naked limbs. Some how it made me think of all the artists in the world who try and capture the beauty of God's work, but they will never succeed in duplicating the many emotions we feel when we become a part of nature's scenery and experience it first hand, PS: this is one of my "home remedies" to chase away any negative feelings.
I enjoyed your description of your own "Golden Pond." I love this time of year and you captured a part of it with your description.
I don't know if statistics will comfort you, but they say your children only have a 5% chance of getting PD if you have it. I'm sure your children and grandchildren will be just fine. Congratulations on the expected 3rd grandchild. It's a blessing!
