Buck and Robin, I found one small study involving nine Parkinson's patients on the Yahoo health network. The subjects were first injected with nicotine followed by the nicotine patch. The found their was improvement in learning and memory abilities, but the study did not have enough subjects to draw any conclusions. I suspect the bad effects of nicotine on the body has a lot to do with the few studies that have been done (heart). Bruce
