Hi,
I jsut returned from Philadelphia and Thomas Jefferson U. where I was tested to see if I fit the GM1 study.
Dr. Jay Schneider is a movement specialist and is checking to make sure I have Parkinson's not something
else. I did pretty good on all the tests, but could not count 100 backwards by 7. I never could do this anyway.
I should find out in a week if I will be in the study.
100 Mild to Moderate Parkinson's patients are needed and only 27 are enrolled presently. Dr. Schneider can be
called at 215-503-0370 or Stephanie Ferraro, coordinator, can be called at 215-955-8700.
I tried to enter this on the new board and keep getting I had the wrong password, so I gave up.
