: : : Just getting started and lookking for advice and guidance. Thanks for your help. John

: : John, I qualifyed for SS disability the first time. What I did was to go into detail about my conditions and symptoms and also described mental condition. Include all medical problems that would prevent you from going to work every day and prevent you from consistently following a schedule.

: : For more info. go to http://www.ssa.gov/diplan/dqualify.htm

: : Bruce

: Darrell, that was a well written answer. What you wrote should be helpful. Bruce
: John,
: I agree totally with what Bruce said, I also qualified my first time, and I also went into great detail about everything, how it affected my daily living from brushing my teeth to walking down the hallway. How long it used to take for me to do a task and how long it takes now. Make note of all your symptoms and how they affect you on a daily basis. Remember you know what it really feels like, they don't. Good Luck and come back and let us know how you did.
