We adopted my son 3 yrs ago. He is now 13. His hands tremor 24-7, his co-ordination is totally like having 2 left feet and his speach has regressed back to slurring at times. When he came to us, he we were told that he is ADHD and he was on ritalin. We got him off that, and thought that his syptoms were from reactions to the ritalin. His has no vision in his left eye, so we thought that might have something to do with the co-ordination issues. But his shaking is worse!! He has trouble holding a pen to do school work. Can parkinsons effect a child so young?? What type of testing should I have done on him?? He is very small for age, he looks 7 not 13, has been through hell in such a short little life span. I just want to try to get to the route of his problem and get treatment. He is not on medication of any type. I didn't know if there is something that will help with them tremors.
Thank you, Jody
