It's referred to as a "blighted ovum". For whatever reason things weren't right with sperm, egg or both and no baby developed. Mine was discovered when I started bleeding at about 8 weeks. It came inbetween 2 completely uneventful pregnancies, and is actually pretty common. My thoughts are with you. Even though it is early in the pregnancy, it was still a pregnancy, and I know you feel the loss. Lisa : I went in for a vaginal ultrasound last week (6 weeks preg) and the doctor found a sac, but no baby. What is going on?
