A home pregnancy test should be accurate. It measures the presence or absence of HCG, which is only produced if you are pregnant. It is not an ingredient of birth control pills.
: My period is a week late. I have been on the pill but have missed a few in one pack but never twice in a row, which I thought would be ok. Anyways I was wondering if I took a home pregnancy test if it would work right or not since I have been on the pill, will the hormones mess up and give a wrong reading?
