: I just had a miscarriage on 1/21/00. At that time I had just entered what would have been my third month. This would have been my second child. My doctor advised me to wait to attempt to conceive for three months. We agreed.

: With my first child, it took over 1 1/2 years to conceive due to the fact that I do not ovulate on a regular basis. So who would have thought that I would ovulate before having a period after my miscarriage.

: What are the harms of conceiving without waiting three months, let alone a full cycle?

I've heard people say that they get pregnant easier after a miscarriage because the hormones and body are more ready. I haven't heard of anyone having problems by getting pregnant sooner than was recommended. I know people who have gotten pregnant bfore their baby was 3 months old and everthing has been fine.

I've read up a lot on herbs and raspberry leaf is highly recommended during child bearing years especially during pregnancy. It helps prevent miscarriage and tones and stregthens the uterus. It has lots of good nutrients in it. You can take it in either capsules or tea form. Most healthfood stores carry it. Some people claim that it helped them have an easier delivery. Good luck and hope all is well.
