Hello all,
I had a miscarriage five months ago. It was then discovered that I had a goiter and was hyperthyroid. My doctors want me to get pregnant again and try PTU this time. Any thoughts on side effects? I know this drug crosses the placenta, and am not thrilled about this. Also I still have the goiter and am only borderline normal on thyroid levels. I am seeing a reproductive endocronologist this week, but usually find you folks more helpful than most doctors. ha
