One thing about being a parent, it teaches us patience. Only time will answer your question. Ten days can really make a difference in what a fetus looks like on ultrasound. I have seen MANY situations where a fetus wasn't seen during a scan then 1-2 weeks later a moving, heart-beating baby. (Though it is also not uncommon to concieve twins but only have one baby continue to viability.) Best of luck.
: Last saturday had a light bleed for 2 days, had ultrasound on monday. Have 1 sac with a 6wk foetal pole in it and another sac which they say looks empty. Have heard stories of this being misdiagnosed and a baby does appear a few weeks later. Does this really happen often? They say the blood sometimes covers it so they cant see it and sometimes it takes till the sac is 20mm before they can tell, my 1st sac is only 4mm. Going crazy waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!
