Grandpaw- First if she is 10 weeks pregnant they wouldn't do a D&C. Second, thank God she did see a Doctor. Maybe with this one she will keep going. Some states provide insurance for low income families during pregnancy and for the child until a certin age. Check the local Health and Welfare office. I have heard of women after miscarring countinuing to think they are pregnant and show the signs too. I don't have first hand knowledge of this but you could check it out with a Doctor (an OB might be best). Last thing if you are giving money to them and are concerened for whatever reason that they may be taking you for a ride-you can pay the Dr bills yourself and not give them any cash at all.
