: I haven't got my period since December 14, 1999. I went off the pill in December I took a home pregnancy test on Feb 13th. The results were positive. I have been spotting now for two days. I have all the signs that I am pregnant and have a doctors apt. on March 3rd. I am nervous something is going wrong however, the doctor hasn't verified I am pregnant. What should I do!
Try resting until you're appointment, Make sure you drink lots of water. If you get dehydrated it could cause cramping and that wouldn't be good. I've been sick and my midwife told me to have boillion soup to keep my sodium up so that the amnnio fluid wouldn't get low and to drink lots of water at least 64 ounces/day. Some people spot during pregnancy and its not a problem but if you're worried its best to not do a lot of things until you're appointment. Especially if its anything that causes cramping.
