: I just had a miscarriage on 1/21/00. At that time I had just entered what would have been my third month. This would have been my second child. My doctor advised me to wait to attempt to conceive for three months. We agreed.

: With my first child, it took over 1 1/2 years to conceive due to the fact that I do not ovulate on a regular basis. So who would have thought that I would ovulate before having a period after my miscarriage.

: What are the harms of conceiving without waiting three months, let alone a full cycle?

I had a miscarriage on Jan. 4th and it is now March 6th and I am almost 7 weeks pregnant, the main reason that they like you to wait is so
they can see how far along you are by dating from the last period, all they do for me is check my blood for HCG levels. I think
that it is EASIER to get pregnant after a miscarriage... It only took me 2 months the first time and 3 weeks the second time!!
