well, chances are she wasn't taking it long enough to cause any harm to the baby, if she's still worried she could ask for an early ultrasound just to reasure her that everything is ok, i saw a woman on tv who didn't know she was pregnant and took birth controll the whole time she was pregnant and it had no harmfull side effects on the baby. So everything should be fine.
