: I am a nurse who gives lots of Lovenox at doses between 30mg-100mg, usually twice a day. The dosing is determined by your doctor based on whether you have a clot or they are trying to prevent a clot, your weight, and lab results.
: I am sure your doctor can explain to you why he is using the dosage regimen that he is.
: : I've read that Lovenox is 30 mL, once a day, and other dosage levels at 40 mL, twice a day.
: : Can anyone clue me in? What have you taken, and did you have favorable results, i.e., immune factors stay suppressed and at what dosage levels?
: : Thanks for your help. There is much to keep track of in understanding the Lovenox information.

Hi, I'm 20 yearsold and currently 28 weeks pregnant with my second child. A week ago I went into A-Fib that lasted for 14 hours. Eventually the Dr converted my heart rhythm using Ibutilide (Corvert). He put me on Lovenox. I take an injection twice a day at 60 mg each. This is to prevent a clot caused by the A-Fib. My OB said it is safe for use during pregnancy. From what I gather this is a drug that is not used very often. I ended up having to get it through a home health agency. It's good to know that I'm not alone. Jackie
