: I'm 14 weeks pregnant, haven't had any symptoms, but thats not really my main concern, i am just so worried that my baby isn't going to be "normal" is this going to effect my baby because im just so scared and want everything to be perfect!!!!!
A lot of women go through the 1st trimester with no obvious symptoms. It is natural to be concern with the well being of your baby. When you visit your OB talk with him/her about your concerns. I am sure they have heard most of them before. If you feel that you are obsessing talk to your OB about this too. Stress can affect your body in strange ways. Try to relax, go to the library and get some books on pregnancy. Talk with your mom or other friends that have gone through a pregnancy. It helps, I had several friends pregnant the same time I was with my 1st.
