: I would like to have your opinion on this. For you, who've had babies, how much weight did you gained and in how much time, after your pregnancy have you lost it??? And what's the average weight gain when pregnant?? Thank you very much!
Most Dr would like you to only gain abotut 25-30 lbs for a single birth. Your weight gain is usually highest in the last trimester.
Here is what happened to me.
The 1st child I pigged out. I had double servings of everything. Oink Oink. I gained 70 pounds(most in the last 3 mo). Bad news I keept all but 10 or 15 pound after delivery. Breast feeding helped in loosing weight to a certin point. It took 2 years to get back down to the pre pregnancy weight. I walked miles to do it and watched my diet. (I had sweets once in awhile)
My secound child I had morning sickness. I actually lost weight before gaining. I only put on 25-27lbs(last 3 mo again). She is almost 10 mo and I have another 5 lbs to go. I haven't walked as much as I should but now that the weather is warmer 60-70F We walk after dinner most nights. So I hope to loose the 5 lbs soon.
Hope this helps.
