: The best thing to do would be to call a pharmasist. They should be able to tell you if it's safe or not. or atleast point you in the direction of someone who can.
Hi, I am still taking 1 a day and I am 36 weeks and dialated. This drug WILL NOT cause harm to the baby unless taken in large amounts. I have proof from the March
of Dimes on that if you want to email me and get it. The only risk is addiction in the baby. That is what I am afraid of now. I am gonna try and not take any more pills but
it is very hard to do when you are in pain. I have been told by many docs that 1 a day might not even cause any withdrawal. It probably wont. I was told by a girl today, who takes
5-8 a day, that I SHOULD NOT get Stadol and Nubain during labor because it will make me go into immediate withdrawal? She also freaked me out by saying that if I
have to have another C-section that I will need more medication than usual cause I am tolerant to narcotics, so I dont feel the C-section! I dont know to believe this girl or not, so I
just wrote to Dr. Joe Glickman who has helped a lot with my questions concerning Lortab. As of the baby being affected by this drug, no. Withdrawal after birth is the only thing that
MAY happen. In our case, I doubt it. I just need to know about the drugs in labor now. Feel free to email me anytime, and I will keep you informed and let you know how my baby
