I currently switched from Zoloft to Celexa for the treatment of depression. When I told my doctor that I would like to get pregnant, he told me that he would not advise continuing the drug, and showed me the side effects Celexa could have on the baby. I was so alarmed at what it could do to harm the fetus -it scared me to death. Has anyone ever taken Celexa while pregnant. I am afraid to stop taking medication for depression - does anyone have any suggestions.
