: : Hi there. I am so so so scared that I have endometriosis. The doctors have said it sounds like iritable bowel syndrome, but I've also had this knawing low back pain that makes it really hard for me sometimes. I've casually mentioned it to the doc, but at the time thought it was no big deal because I just thought it was back pain. But now I've been reading a few things and that is a main symptom. I also read that it can be mistaken for ibs with irregular bowel movements and stomach trouble.
: : I went for a check up not long ago and I did feel some discomforting pain during the internal exam.
: : I really want a family.
: : What should I do? I'm freaking out about this!
: : I can not tell you what I'd do if I couldnt have kids!
: : Please give me some input.
: : Thankyou.
: i know what you are going through, the difference is that i have been diagnosed with it and have had it removed, not that having it removed means anything. the only way to truely diagnose it is to operate(lapescopy). the thing is with endo is that there hasn't been a lot of research done on it so most doctors don't diagnose it. there are plenty of websites out there and groups, so if you want more info send me an email and i will give you the web sites or i could tell you my experience and how i deal with it.
Hi. Thanks for responding. I have actualy looked at many different websites about endo. My main concern is bearing children. Supposedly it's a myth, but I have heard that pregnancy can cause temporary relief of symptoms. They say that doctors may say that if your ready to have a baby to go ahead and do so. But what if you can't? My husband and I have been trying this month, but if you have endo, do you have to resort to in vitro?
I'm so scared it will never happen for me.
Do you yourself have children?
