Well, i don't think it's a sign necesarily...but i think you may need to be careful (mainly because you've already gone into preterm labor, not really having anything to do with the thinning cervix)...at your next appointment discuss it with your doctor. as far as i know a thinned cervix doesn't give you a higher chance of going into preterm labor...but since you already have you may want to see what you need to be cautious of to prevent it from happening again.
