I want to get a test done for toxoplasmosis but the doctor won't do one until your actually pregnant. (I'm trying) I don't think this is right. It's not like it would be a complete waist of time for the lab. Does anyone out there know what I can do? I have cats and am very concerned. I would like to know that if I have had this in the past I know it wouldnt be while I was pregnant and if I havent had it I could take the extra precations not to get it.
I think if I want the test done the doctors should just give it to me.
Please give me any input.
