Diff names for the same thing. In a normal fertilization the egg is fertilized and implands in the wall of the uterus. In a tubal, or ectopic pregnancy the egg implants in the wall of the falopian tube. Once the baby starts to grow the tube will rupture...requiring emergency sugery to remove it. It can be caught early through ultrasound, but from my understanding it's usually not caught untill the woman in in pain and close to rupturing. It is life threatening if it's not treated asap.
