I can definitely relate to your worry--I too have acne-prone skin but have found that my skin was generally BETTER during (and after) pregnancy. For me, the hormonal changes of pregnancy seem to decrease my oiliness, and my skin improves even though I am off all my prescription meds (retin-A, antibiotics). Every case is different I'm sure, but I wanted to let you know that I had GOOD skin changes during my pregnancies (I am currently on #2). Good luck to you!
: My husband and I will start trying to get pregnant in August. I have heard so many things about
: skin changes occurring as a result of hormones, etc.....I have acne prone skin right now and am scare
: that it will only get worse when I am pregnant. Acne stresses me out terribly and I know that is so bad
: when you are pregnant. I want to be as stress free as possible. Has anyone out there experienced GOOD
: skin changes as a result of pregnancy or do I only have to look forward to horrible problems?
: Thanks for any input!
