Well I can say that my son did swallow his first BM and he had no problems. He did not end up in the NICU. So I mean there is slim chance that would happen. Both SIL's used it to have their kids too which ended up fine. So. I guess it is the rare occasion that that would happen. Do what you feel is right. Castor oil will definitely make you feel crampy though. I would not suggest trying it with orange juice. Put it in Root Beer and you wont taste it at all. Make sure you drink it fast. KRistina
