Is it normal to get depressed before the baby is born? I am 37 weeks pregnant and the doctor is talking about inducing my labor in 1 week, if my cervix is "ripe" (what does he mean by saying if it is ripe, anyway???) I know this should be something that I am so excited about and I am, it is just that I have this uncontrollable crying problem. Everything is getting me down. It is like I am hitting post-partum depression before I should. Is this normal?
