My doctor checked me at my appt on Thursday. He said that my cervix is ripening, but it isn't ripe enough to induce labor. He was going to put me in the hospital on Friday evening, to give me medicine to ripen the cervix, and then if that worked, he was going to induce labor on Saturday morning. However, due to overcrowding in the hospital, I have to postpone my hospital admittance until Sunday evening. What are the chances that my cervix could be ripe enough to go ahead and induce labor without having to give the medicine to ripen the cervix? How quick can it get soft and thin? Would from Thursday morning to Sunday evening make much difference?
