: I posted last week sometime: after being on b.c. for three years, this is my first month off--but my period is now a week late. I took a home pregnancy test called "First Response" and it was negative (supposed to give accurate results as early as a day before you EXPECT your period). Has anyone had any experience with this brand, or can you recommend a good brand? I am still VERY worried since I have not gotten my period yet...Any help/advice/guidance/reassurance would be very much appreciated...
The only advice I can give you right now is to wait another few weeks for your period before assuming you're pregnant. Most people have very irregular periods the first few months after going off the pill. I know I did. You could get a blood test done if you are really concerned, but I would wait at least another week or two.
I hope all is well. :)
