: I am measuring small for dates. Does this mean my baby has some kind of abnormality or down syndrom, has anyone had this and their baby be healthy and normal, i am so scared.

Paige:

Didn't your doctor discuss this with you? This could be nothing at all to worry about. I mean, maybe
the dates for the beginning of your pregnancy are wrong, it may be just a fluke and next time you
will measure perfectly fine.

Even if something is wrong, as in the baby is a bit small, I'm pretty sure it's not a sign of Down's
syndrome. Sometimes growth might be slower if a woman's weight gain is too slow. Anyway,
your doctor is the expert here, why not call up and explain your fears? Ask to know exactly what
this could mean. You can do it!! Good luck--LynnB
