My wife and I are thinking of having a second child. She is 40 years old and has had frequent bouts of diarrhea
since she had her gall bladder removed, soon after the birth of our daughter. The GYN has told us the fetus
might suffer from mental retardation due to dehydration brought on by the diarrhea ( & my wife's age) and
has suggested we not go ahead with the pregnancy. Anyone out there have any experience with this situation?
