Pain, pressure, spotting

I had an ectopic pregnancy 3 months ago and lost my right ovary and fallopian tube due to rupturing. My doctor said that my left tube did not look so good either. Last week on day 17 of my cycle I began spotting and spotted for 5 days. I took an hpt and it was negative but of course it would have been very early. I have now been having some pains in my left side and some pressure near my rectum. I have not been experiencing any symptoms of pregnancy as I did three months ago. Does anyone know if ovulation can cause spotting and pain for a week? Of course I am worried that it is another ectopic but I am afraid I might be overreacting. Any suggestions would be helpful.
