We have twins on the way also. My wife is in here 12th week (still early, we're praying!) Our doctor told us that he would be watching the growth rate of the twins to make sure that they were growing at the same speed. If they aren't, one will be ready to come out before the other and you could go into labor early. If your doc isn't giving you the full story I would definitely seek another opinion ASAP!!!
