: I am taking zoloft and I am just wondering if it could effect my unborn child at all? Any comments or anwers would be great
: I am pregnant and a user of zoloft as well. This is my third child ( my fourth pregnancy ) but my first pregnancy on zoloft. Everything I have read indicates that there is little research to support or discourage use of zoloft during pregnancy. My understanding is that you must simply weigh the benefits of the medication for the mother against the lack of information on zoloft use during pregnancy. Stress, depression, and anxiety can definitely by dangerous to your unborn child - this is proven. Don't worry. Many women have had successful, healthy pregnancies on zoloft. What dosage of zoloft are you taking and to treat what? I would love to keep in touch with you during your pregnancy if you are interested. Good Luck :-)
