I'm not judging anyone, I just want to ask some questions to the girls here who are worried about pregnancy. If you had unprotected sex, why? If you're not on birth control, why not? If you are worried about becoming pregnant, why do you put yourself at risk by allowing a guy to have unprotected sex with you? Is it because it feels better? I mean, sure the act may feel better, but will having a child growing inside of you feel good? Do you want to affect the rest of your life for a good feeling?
Why not get on birth control? Parents don't need to know you are on it. You can get it for a very low price from Planned Parenthood. Why not get it?
Again, I'm not judging anyone, its just that I hear so often on many message boards that girls had unprotected sex, and now they are worried about pregnancy. I just wanted to ask why girls have unprotected sex, and worry about pregnancy after instead of worrying about protecting themselves before.
I'll tell you my story. I am a 19 year old female. The first time I had sex, all we used was a condom. After that, I realized that I was just so stupid because what if the condom had broke? What if it would have slipped off? I got scared and decided that I needed to protect myself even more because I do not want to have a baby.
The week after I first had sex (this was last year) I went to the gyno and got on Depo Provera. I felt so much better knowing that I was on birth control and using condoms. My boyfriend was also concerned about me possibly getting pregnant, and he would much rather use a condom than raise a child (the deal is I get the shot, he pays for it).
So much of the worry has been taken out of sex and its so much more enjoyable knowing that I am taking the steps I need to in order to protect myself. I just want all of you ladies to be protected, and not do something you'll end up regretting in the future. Just stay safe and protect yourself. You're all worth it. :)
