my reply isn't as depressing as the other posters. I have heard of cases when the woman is very early on and they have a hard time finding the baby (because it's so small), although i'm not sure how early they were talking about. Your doctor obviously didnt do a good job of explaining things to you, the baby could have died (i doubt you would have misscarried though because you would have noticed that, even though it is early on there would have been some bleeding even if it was just a small amount), either way make an apointment to talk to your doctor asap.
