: I am currently being treated for hypothyroidism.
: My doctor wants me to make a decision whether to continue taking Armour thyroid or switch to
: Synthroid before I get pregnant. Does anyone know
: of any differences in how Armour affects a fetus versus Synthroid? Or, where could I go to get info
: on the two drugs and their impact on a fetus?
I am currently on Synthroid, and have been for about 1 1/2 years. I took it all through my pregnancy with my last little girl who is now 2 months old. It did not affect the pregnancy or the health of the baby at all. She is perfectly health. I don't know anything about Armour but I know Synthroid is 100% safe.
