: I am so sorry about your loss. I lost my second child at 12 weeks of pregnancy. My dr.told me that I gave birth and so I need to behave like I did. That means the 6 weeks of rest and taking good care of myself. He recommended 3 mo. before trying to conceive again. I had another baby within 18 months.I have had 4 children since losing that one (To God I am eternally grateful). I still miss that child and wonder about him/her. I think about the baby with each new pregnancy. But I don't worry anymore. Many people don't understand the emotional aspects of miscarriage. It is very similar to mourning the death of any loved one. I had a rough time. I really wanted to talk about it and cry and it made most people uncomfortable. Time does help Take time now to prepare your body and heart for the next baby. Stay on prenatal vitamins!! and eat good. Get at your healthiest weight. These things ARE NOT the cause of your miscarriage but I found some comfort in being active in preparing myself for the next baby. Resist worrying through the next pregnancy. It is counter-productive.
God bless you and take care.
