This is our first month trying to get pregnant and for the past week or two, I have been experiencing pain on the left side of my abdomen (pelvis area). Sometimes it feels like pain, other times just like pressure, and occassionally the feeling goes away. The pain is not severe but definitely noticeable. If we actually did conceive this month, I would only be in my 2nd or 3rd week. I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative (although maybe I took the test too early). Does anyone think this could be an ectopic pregnancy? I should get my period anytime now if I am not pregnant. I was just wondering it it is ok to wait a week to see if I am indeed pregnant before I seek the advice of a doctor. Or if you think my symptoms are not that of an ectopic pregnancy, then maybe I can stop worrying! Any advice would be appreciated as I am very worried! Thanks!
