: I went to get my u/s and there was still no heartbeat. I have been bleeding since last night. Dr is having me go in for a D&C tomorrow and I will be put to sleep. How do you get through this? This is my first pregnancy and I have been dreaming of holding a baby in my arms, and now I have nothing but emotional pain. Please help with any ideas of how to deal with this.
I understand what you are going thru, not personally but by seeing how it affects others. My aunt just lost her baby at 5 and a half months, just out of nowhere. She was fine on Sunday when everyone saw her. Then this happened out of nowhere. This is her third pregnancy. She lost her first child at the age of 2 and a half from a muscular disease. She has a healthy, happy 13 month boy now. Everyone is worried about how she is going to make it so that her son doesnt get the brunt of it. If she doesnt come out of this he will suffer. I know one way that she got passed the first one is by consuming her life with everything around her. She found religion again and realized there is a reason for everything. It nevers sounds like something you want to hear but there is always a reason that these things happen. So my advice is to get involved in your life, be thankful for what you have, and also grieve for the baby you lost because grieving always helps. You can't just leaving it all inside. People will understand that you are going to be upset. So turn to others and as long as your ready and when you are ready you can have another child and I hope everything works out for you. Again I am so sorry about ur loss.
