I am 6 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I had a lot of problems with my second one and I hoped that would not be the case with this one. But it is. My hormone level is 15 when it should be 25. The doctor has me on a pill called Prometrium. I take 400mg at bedtime, but it is not helping. Is this drug safe and am I the only one with this problem?
I am sooo confused. I do not want to lose my baby. Is Prometrium safe for the baby? I had to sign a waiver saying I understand that it is not approved by the FDA. Help!
