I would not use this as a reliable form of birth control. Even though pre-ejaculation semen may be small in quantity, even a small amount may be enough to get a woman pregnant. Pre-ejaculation semen may vary in quantity and when it is present during arousal. This doesn't mean that a woman will get pregnant when this method is used, just that it is possible so I would be careful.

: My girlfriend and I have recently tried of form of the withdrawal method, but now I am worried she might be pregnant. I know some sperm escapes with semem before ejaculation, but I withdrew sometime before this. I really want to know when does this semen come out, is it right before ejaculation, or at any time before. After I have withdrawn we use a condom (extra safe with spermicide) to climax with. Were we safe?
