If you're two weeks late, it shouldn't be too soon. Home pregnancy tests are generally designed to detect HCG hormone as early as the first day of your missed period. I only waited two days after missing my period, and the home pregnancy test said I was pregnant. I've seen then been to the Dr., and they've confirmed the pregnancy. Since you're two weeks overdue for your period, you should get a positive home pregnancy test result with no problem (assuming you're pregnant). There could be other reasons why your period hasn't come yet. Give it a shot, I'd advise on buying the ones that come two per package. Just get the generic ones also, they're all pretty much the same.
