I just talked to my doctor and she said that a blood test can detect pregnancy 24 hours after conception and a HPT can detect pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. Both tests are quite accurate--I think over 99% when used correctly and at appropriate times (but certainly not infallable). Certainly there have been plenty of people who have taken either test and have gotten a negative result but really are pregnant. But the fact that you have taken so many tests makes it quite likely that your negative results are accurate. Also, I am pretty sure an obgyn would be able to tell during a physical/pelvic exam if you are 3 months pregnant. If you talk to your doctor, I am sure they can give you a definitive answer regarding your concerns. Good luck!

: How accurate are blood pregnancy tests? I had a quantitative blood test done 1 month after the date I thought I conceived and it was negative (test date on 9/8).

: Then I had a qualitiative test done three weeks later (which was 7 weeks from the date of possible conception) and it was negative too.

: HOw accurate are qual and quan blood tests?

: Due to my paranoia, I have also taken several HPTs in the last couple of weeks - all negative.

: Should I have any reason to be concerned that all these tests are incorrect?

: Would a HPT be accurate at 2 months since the date of conception, if it says negative?

: Last question - would an OBGYN be able to tell through an examiniation if you were pregnant, if the exam was 3 months from the date of possible conception?

: Thanks for all your help!!
